Vet Next Door Walk-Ins & Pet Emergencies

At Vet Next Door, we try our best to accommodate you and your pet.

We understand that emergencies can arise unexpectedly. Our team is willing to accommodate walk-ins and emergency visits to the best of our ability.

If your pet is brought in because of an emergency, the veterinary staff will triage your pet promptly. Please be aware that if the appointment schedule is full, there will be a $100 emergency fee associated with your visit.

For routine wellness visits or minor illnesses and injuries, appointments are always preferred and will take precedence over walk-ins. If you walk in without an appointment, there may be a significant wait time, or we may need to schedule you with our next available appointment.

Our staff may recommend admitting your pet to the hospital in order to fit them in between scheduled appointments. They will only recommend this after triaging your pet to make sure that they are medically stable. We work closely with several veterinary urgent care and emergency facilities. If your pet has an emergency towards the end of our business day or is seriously ill and requires hospitalization, we will work with their doctors to transfer care.
